Britney wants to be your friend
SAD BRITNEY SPEARS walked around in her undies and begged holidaymakers to be her friend, it was revealed yesterday.
The troubled singer pleaded with two strangers to pose for pictures by a hotel pool after they lent her a bikini to cover her embarrassment.
But onlookers said the 25-year-old star — now in rehab — seemed oblivious as she downed drink after drink at LA’s swanky Mondrian Hotel.
The two girls in the picture said they found Britney shaving her legs in a toilet and wearing a blue wig. It was the day after she shaved her head.
They offered her a bikini and took her to their room. One said: “While we were in our room she raided the minibar. She grabbed bottles and just started mixing drinks. She had no concept of what she was doing.
“It was sad, she looked in desperate need of a friend.”
Days later the sick star booked herself into rehab.
